Sr. Clare Teresa Tjader, R.A. delivered the annual Marie Eugenie Milleret Lecture at Assumption College, Worcester, MA last April 18th, 2007.

Sr. Clare traces the formative years of Marie-Eugenie's life journey from her upbringing in a family that was both impassioned with the ideals of the French Revolution and indifferent to religion through the steps that led her to found the Assumption in Paris at age 22 in 1839.
Sister Clare Teresa is a former Superior General of the Religious of the Assumption (1983 - 1995) and Provincial of the United States (2000 - 2006). Currently she is Superior of the West Philadelphia community and an Assumption College trustee.
