Rest in the Peace of Christ, Sr. Francis Teresa

Our dear Sr. Francis Teresa (Hortensia Rita del Marmol) went home to God on January 3rd, 2018.  She was in the 93rd year of her life and the 63rd year of her religious consecration.  A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Monday, January 8th at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of the Holy Spirit, Assumption College, 500 Salisbury Street, Worcester, MA.  It will be preceded by a calling hour from 9:00 - 10:00 a.m.  The Sisters of the U.S. Province request the charity of your prayers for the eternal repose of our Sister.

At final profession, a Religious of the Assumption receives a ring as a sign of the covenant she has with Jesus Christ.  In it is engraved a word that describes what the Lord has been and continues to be in her life.  “He emptied himself that they may have life” was that word for Sr. Francis Teresa.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Religious of the Assumption would be appreciated.
