The brochure for the 2013 Women's Conference of the Worcester Diocese described the Many Ways to Pray workshop in this way:
"Have you ever wanted to learn more about prayer, perhaps even to pray without ceasing as St. Paul tells us? This workshop will introduce you to two beautiful prayer methods that will deepen your relationship with the Lord. Sr. Yvette Bellerose, a Sister of St. Anne, and Sr. Mary Ann Azanza and Sr. Jurgita Sereikaite (Religious of the Assumption) will offer two different methods and allow you time to experience them. Sister Yvette will present on Lectio Divina, the ancient method of praying with scripture while Sisters Mary Ann and Jurgita will share with us the haunting chant prayers of Taize."
And so it was that our Sisters Mary Ann and Jurgita brought to the participants of the Gather Us In Women's Conference the beauty of the prayer of the Taize monastic community. Through a presentation that included Taize chants, video clips, and a sharing of personal experience, the workshop participants had an insight into this form of prayer that has helped so many people both young and old come closer to God.
The workshop ended with an invitation to come to the Assumption College Chapel of the Holy Spirit every first Friday of the month at 8:00 p.m. to pray in this way.
