Alumnae Day 2006 took place at the Ravenhill campus (now Philadelphia University) on October 15th, 2006.
Mass was celebrated at 10 a.m. and was followed by registration and brunch.
Dr. James Gallagher, President of Philadelphia University, welcomed us, followed by a Mass of Thanksgiving in the Chapel at 10 a.m., concelebrated by Fr. Albert Jenneman, S.J., Fr. Philip Hurley, S.J., and Fr. Robert Hagan, O.S.A. Fr. Hurley and Fr. Hagan are both sons of Ravenhill alumnae.
Sr. Mary Ann Azanza, R.A., new Provincial of the Religious of the Assumption in the U.S., spoke to the alumnae about the General Chapter meeting held in July 2006. (For a copy of her remarks, please click on the link below.)
All were happy to meet up with old classmates and renew friendships of many years. It was a wonderful moment to give thanks for the gift of an Assumption education and continue to explore ways to place this gift at the service of society.
It was good to see all of you!
