Assumption College (Worcester, MA) kicked off its celebration of Saint Marie Eugenie with a program sponsored by the Womens Studies Program of the College on Thursday, November 8, 2007. Under the leadership of Professor Regina Edmonds of the Psychology Department, Sr. Nuala Cotter, R.A. (English and Theology) and Professor Louise Carroll-Keeley (Philosophy) provided insight into the life and educational philosophy of Marie Eugenie, while Professor Dona Kercher (Foreign and Classical Languages) offered a lively multi-media presentation on the global outreach of the Assumption today. Faculty, students, staff and neighbors made up an SRO crowd of 80+ persons who gathered for the late afternoon event.
